A typical day in Tokyo.
Carpe dium!
In one sentence, good design is something that makes you feel good. Good is good..Tokyo is over-flowing with good design and I was just ecstatic the whole time. Is this because I come from a not-so-stylish city like San Francisco? Is this fresh feeling going to fade if I lived in Tokyo? who cares. I am just going to enjoy the day. (By pretending to be an obnoxious foreigner and take photos even if they say NO PIKUTUA PUREEZE!)

If you are into visually pleasing things, you MUST stop by here. AXIS building in Roppongi. 5F of design excellence ranging from gallery, furniture, books, textile, products etc.. I literally O.D.ed on good design.

Another must stop by place: TOKYO MID-TOWN. Too much to see, too little time. So I won't even post anything but little break time shot :)

CIBONE select shop in Aoyama. Nishi Masataka pattern. OPTIC NERVE!!!

It's always fascinating to see how stores get creative in displaying our product. Loveless in Aoyama

Beautiful encounter. Suzuki kun from United Arrows is a huge fan of incase. Here Suzuki kun with his P-Rod backpack with Andrew kun the designer of P-Rod backpack.

At night we went to my soul brother Kama's restaurant, PEACE CAFE in Futakotamagawa. Few minutes walk from the station, in a seemingly abandoned bushy area near the river bed glowed a blue light in the pitch dark.

Once we got there, I was immediately removed from the chaos of Tokyo: under an immense night sky lit a quaint and chic cottage style restaurant. I felt like I was in Cafe del Mar after dark in Ibiza or something. We sat outside by the river and Emma played and sang a beautiful lullaby. The Mediterranean style dishes were superb.

And the family. True oasis in a dissonant dessert. ありがとう カマさん!
